Why would you recommend our readers to visit Ibiza? And Formentera?

Ibiza is a unique place. Not only it is considered one of the most beautiful places in our country or in the Mediterranean but for many other reasons. Its historical heritage, its gastronomy, its beaches, and leisure allow you to enjoy multiple activities in one small place.

Your favourite spot in Ibiza and Formentera…

Heaven’s gates in Santa Agnés.

Is your music inspired in Ibiza?

Without a doubt. Ibiza is a place of inspiration for different types of art; for musicians, writers, crafters… For many years artists like Bob Marley or Madonna have been inspired by the island to write their music, and of course it is a huge source of inspiration for me.

What music projects have you worked in?

I have my own record label called Lowlita Records and another project I have started together with Gonzalo and José which is Balearica Music radio. We are launching it in a few weeks.

Tell us more about the evolution of this new Balearica Music project?

Our thought process is the evolution of the radio to prevent traditional radio to become obsolete. It is targeted to a younger crowd who live in a more digital era, we will use tools not just to capitalize it unilaterally, but together with content creators who will participate in our platform we will become one product.

You have DJed in different countries and cities worldwide. Why is music so special for you?

Feeling at one with my people. Ibiza has been the mecca for many artists although for a few years now it is more polarized. However, I remember when I started 15 years ago if you didn’t play in Ibiza you didn’t make it in the rest of the world. Ibiza is a place where every artist wants to showcase their own music to grow elsewhere. In my case, thanks to Ibiza I have been able to expand my profile to the rest of the globe.

What makes you unique?

I believe it’s my special connexion with the crowd. I would say that I have a special sensibility to understand music, to receive it and to transmit it. I believe what makes me different is the energy I create with the people, making them to disconnect from their worries and let them focus on the music.
