This large sandy beach is born at the mouth of the only river in the Balearic Islands and stretches, along a promenade, for more than 400 metres in length. Attached to one of the most important urban centres on the island, this urban beach has all the services and along it there are numerous restaurants, ice cream parlours, cafes and other tourist shops. During the summer months, it is the venue for a large number of sports championships such as beach volleyball, swimming events, canoeing or dinghy sailing, among others.

Dimensions: 420 metres long by 90 metres wide.

Seabed: sand and small areas of rocks.
